It is normal for women to feel pain during their periods. However, if it occurs on a regular basis, it indicates a uterine problem. In such cases, it is critical to consult a Gynaecologist and Obstetrician. The incision will heal in about a week, but the inside operation will take a little longer. As a result, this will take around 3 months.

Uterine prolapse (shifting down of the uterus) - stage 2 onwards
After your uterus is removed (hysterectomy) all the normal organs that surround the uterus simply fill the position previously occupied by the uterus. Mostly it is bowel that fills the space, as there is lots of small and large bowel immediately adjacent to the uterus.
